The CrosSFit Basics series meet 3 times a week for 2 consecutive weeks. Please note, if you have pre-existing injuries or are deconditioned, additional private coaching sessions may be required before moving into our fast-paced group classes. Price: $100. » Sign up and reserve your spot in an upcoming workshop
Group Classes
The vast majority of people who are new to CrosSFit must begin with Private Coaching or a Crossfit Basics Workshop. If you have a strong background in weightlifting, solid capacities in basic bodyweight movements like pull-ups, push-ups, ring dips and handstands, and believe you are reasonably fit, you may be a candidate to join our group classes. If you think you might be one of these athletes, please contact Kelly Starrett directly at . Level 1 Group Classes This is where your training enters the realm of sport and the competition begins. Classes are intense, challenging, and move quickly. Workouts are generally 40-60 minutes and have 3 main components:
Level 2 Group Classes Level 2 programming is for CrosSFit athletes who are proficient in all of the basic CrosSFit skills, and who can complete CrosSFit workouts at prescribed weights and intensities. This class is fast-paced and will focus on refining some of the standard CrosSFit exercises as well as teach more complex movements like muscle-ups and gymnastics moves. This class is by invitation only. » Sign up for one of our membership packages or purchase a single drop-in class* * Only if you have completed your Introductory Private Coaching sessions or CrosSFit Basics Workshop, or are a veteran of San Francisco CrosSFit.
Specialized Coaching for the Injured Athlete or Athletes With Chronic Orthopedic Problems
SanFrancisco CrosSFit Specializes in world-class coaching for athletes who are recovering from an injury or with unique orthopedic needs. During periods of injury or after surgery, there is no need to stop training. On the contrary, SFCF views these times of athletic transition as genuine opportunities to further develop areas of weakness, to facilitate healing processes, and continue to advance athletic progress. Additionally, SFCF is able to develop elite level coaching for athletes with chronic orthopedic dysfunction (herniated discs, joint replacement, back pain, shoulder impingment, knee pain, patella dysfunction, etc.). We are able to modify, substitute, and scale our athletic programming to allow for maximal results while maintaining and enhancing pain free function. Our orthopedic programming is overseen by Kelly Starrett who is a Level 3 Crossfit Strength and Conditioning Coach and Doctor of Physical Therapy. » Request an appointment for Specialized Coaching |
